SUBJECT: Modest success at the Eye of the Storm

Good evening, all,

We spent the past two days in Rio Rancho for the Eye of the Storm Tournament at V. Sue Cleveland High. As the season draws to a close, these tournaments are getting mighty competitive (and well-attended -- I think this was the biggest NM tournament of the year!), so our fledgling squad did not experience the same success we've had at other events, but they still did admirably. Of particular note, Aspyn Kaskalla got 7th overall for Informative Speaking, missing finals for the event by a single point!

This was the final regular tournament of the year, so wish us luck as we move into the post-season!
