National Forensic League

The Real NFL

The National Forensic League is the honor society of the National Speech and Debate Association. As such, the NFL is among the world's oldest and most prestigious academic organizations. Upon earning 25 merit points, students and coaches are eligible for lifetime membership in the NFL. Points can be earned through competition or service, and additional honors are accorded as points increase. Read more about the NFL on their website.

Students' certificates and degrees are on display in the ersatz Gavelin' Eagles Hall of Fame outside P-Russ's classroom in the basement of Dodge Hall. When a student graduates (or otherwise leaves the team), their certificate is theirs to keep!
